Description
Trane VAL12842 is a 3-ton thermal expansion valve TXV that is compatible with R410A refrigerant only. TXVs are essential elements in refrigeration and air conditioning systems. This particular valve is operated by a sensing bulb, which observes the temperature at the evaporator outlet. Depending on this temperature, the TXV accurately controls the flow rate of the refrigerant to assure the efficiency of the system. The VAL12842 can be used with different 3-ton air conditioning and heat pump equipment. Some of the advantages of using this TXV are increased system efficiency, increased cooling capacity, reduced energy consumption and better temperature regulation.
