Description
The Honeywell V5013N1089/U 3-Way Mixing Valve with 1-1/2” NPT connection and has a flow capacity of 29Cv. This valve is used to mix cold and hot water in HVAC systems to get the required mixed water temperature. It does this by having an internal method of rationing the cold and hot water that is allowed through the valve, to regulate the temperature of the water coming out of the mixed port. These valves are used in many HVAC-related equipment like boilers, chillers, and heat exchangers for applications like zone heating and cooling, radiant floor heating, and DHW systems. Advantages are accurate temperature regulation, enhanced system performance, and lower energy use due to better blending and minimal temperature changes.
