Description
The Trane VAL19943 is a thermal expansion valve designed for use on HVAC systems with R410A refrigerant. The TXV opens and closes as the temperature in the evaporator changes to keep the pressure correct and to prevent the liquid refrigerant from damaging the compressor by getting too close to it. This precise management ensures optimal cooling capacity and efficiency. It is especially appropriate for 2-ton systems with inlet and output diameters of 3/8″ and 1/2″. It has a working pressure of 500 psi and can operate at temperatures from 40°C to 88°C.
