Description
The Trane VAL12835 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is an essentialelement of the HVAC system as it controls refrigerant amount to the evaporator coil providing correct cooling. This valve works similar to an automatic pressure control valve that aims at controlling the flow rate of the refrigerant into the coil depending on the temperature of the refrigerant vapor. Optimal superheat is maintained by the TXV to ensure that liquid refrigerant does not enter the compressor which is detrimental.
