Description
The Trane VAL12005 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is an intelligent regulator within Trane HVAC system. A type of valve that can control the rate at which refrigerant flows within the system depending on the needs of the system. It is found alongside the evaporator coil and this part gives a detect on the refrigerant temperature. This information is then passed to the thermostatic actuator which in turn alters the position of the valve. This Thermal Expansion Valve regulates refrigerant flow to provide the better performance and efficiency to any system it is installed in.
