The Trane TDR0736 is a pressure transducer that is manufactured to be compatible with Trane HVAC systems only. This small but mighty tool can handle pressure of up to 700 PSI, thus making it ideal for use in different parts of your Trane system. Even though the shipping measurements are quite big 39.4” x 27.7” x 1.3”, the actual transducer is relatively small, being only 1.3 inches tall. In HVAC systems, transducers often convert pressure in the refrigerant lines or in the air ducts into an electrical signal. This signal is then used by the system’s controls to control other activities like compressor control, fan speed or safety features.
