The Bard HVAC 8402-116BX Limit Switch is an essential safety product in HVAC systems. It also measures temperatures and would isolate power to the equipment if the temperatures reach say 90 degrees, to avoid the loading and damaging of equipment. It is used in HVAC equipment like furnaces, air conditioners, and heat pumps used at a temperature range of L300-30°F.
