The Siemens GRD226.1U Fire Smoke Actuator is a fire and smoke dampers control and actuation device for use with HVAC systems. This actuator is reliable in operation to a torque of an operating voltage of 120 VAC at a frequency of 50~60 Hz. It has two auxiliary switches with more ways to control and monitor. The damper has a two position spring return mechanism to ensure that it returns to a safe in the event position of an emergency or power outage. Maintaining building safety depends on this characteristic that stops smoke and fire from propagating through a ventilation system.
