Description
The Carrier EA36UZ151 is a Thermostatic Expansion Valve, used in Carrier HVAC systems that use R-410A refrigerant. It has dimensions of 5.3” x 3.3” x 1.9” and provides efficient cooling and high performance of the system. Constructed from bi-metal for temperature change, the valve controls the refrigerant flow depending on the temperature of the evaporator coil. When the coil is cool, the bi-metal element shrinks and lets more refrigerant through, and a warm coil causes the element to expand and restrict the flow of refrigerant. This sphering ensures that any amount of refrigerant flow does not overload the coil, this causes inefficiency and poses a danger to the entire system.
