Description
The Trane COM6433 is a heavy-duty compressor for large inset industrial or commercial Trane HVAC applications, probably for air conditioners that use R-22 as refrigerant, and usage of R-22 is restricted due to environmental measures. This is a workhorse compressor that stands 28 inches deep and has stub tubes for brazing of refrigerant connections. Because of its dimensions and mass, it should be installed professionally. The Compressor operates based on a high-speed motor of 3450 RPM which operates pistons or blades in a casing. This in turn creates pressure variations to compress making the refrigerant gas hot. The compressed refrigerant flows within the system picking up indoor heat and expelling it outdoors through using R-22 refrigerant.
