The Warrick-Gems Sensors & Controls DFC1B0K Dual Function Level Control is a device used to control liquid levels in HVAC systems. It functions as both a low-level switch and a high-level switch, guaranteeing proper fluid levels in crucial components. The DFC1B0K works with a direct-acting mechanism, which means it exploits the liquid’s physical presence to generate electrical impulses. When the liquid level goes below a predetermined level, the switch opens, disconnecting the circuit and perhaps activating an alarm or pump to restore the level. When the level climbs above the predetermined high point, the switch shuts, completing the circuit and maybe indicating a pump shutdown to avoid overflow.
