The ABB ACH580-01-017A-2 5HP Bare Variable Frequency Drive is designed for use in controlling motors that are used in HVAC systems. It operates at 240V and 6 pulses that control the motor speed and torque based on system requirements for enhancing the system efficiency and energy utilization. This type of VFD is frequently installed in air condition systems, chilling stations and pumps to demand better control of the amount of air being circulated as well as the temperature.
