Description
The 910-7111-02 valve service kit from Copeland is a replacement component specifically made for use in HVAC systems. It is basically a shut-off valve that enables technicians to isolate refrigerant line sections for maintenance or repair. Using a soldering technique, the 5/8” sweat connection enables a secure and leak-proof connection to copper tubing. This service valve kit is made of brass that can endure the requirements of commercial and residential HVAC systems. For servicing purposes, if installed by technicians, they will be able to safely isolate parts of the refrigerant line. This means that maintenance or repair works can be done on certain parts without affecting the whole system. It saves time and energy while at the same time preventing refrigerant leaks in the course of servicing procedure. Moreover, after a repair, service valves are easier to recharge within the system with refrigerants minimizing wastages ensuring better performance.
