Description
The Friedrich Air Conditioning 61643311 relay is an electrically operated switch that uses electricity to control the operations of HVAC equipment. It works like a simple remote control for high power circuits. A small amount of voltage applied to the coil of the relay flips a switch inside it and connects or disconnects a completely different circuit which can handle much higher voltage 230V in this case. This relay is a Double Pole Double Throw type, which means that it regulates two circuits, and can switch between two positions. It has a 30Amps contact rating and can easily handle loads that are usually encountered in HVAC systems such as the compressor and the condenser fan motor.
