Description
The Daikin-McQuay 6023719 Low Pressure Sensor is a circuit component that is used to detect the pressure within the system and send an electrical signal to the control board under the circumstances of pressure being below or exceeding the set limits in the HVAC systems. It is based on a pressure sensing diaphragm and switch assembly to detect the conditions that might reflect refrigerant loss, blockage or abnormal operation. It communicates with the control system to allow or disallow operation of the compressors. This helps to protect the compressor and ensure the efficient cooling work in the system.
