Description
The Conbraco Industries 4ALF-205-A2F 1″ Reduced Pressure Backflow Preventer W/Ball Valve is used to guard the potable water supply by preventing reverse flow and contamination in boilers, and hydronic HVAC systems. It operates based on the concept of differential pressure, utilising check valves and a relief valve that activates, in the event of back pressure to maintain directional flow. It is installed in the water supply line and is combined with the upstream and downstream piping and the shutoff control.
