Description
The Daikin-McQuay 6015244 Thermistor Assembly is a temperature-sensing component designed to monitor thermal conditions within climate control. The element changes its electrical resistance with the temperature and enables the control circuit to interpret the signal and control the operation of equipment in HVAC systems. The assembly contains the sensing probe and lead which is connected to the system control board and sends resistance values which are proportional to the measured temperature levels. It is placed close to coils, refrigerant lines or air passages in the unit and gives a constant temperature feedback necessary to operate it in a controlled heating or cooling mode.
