The Sporlan Controls 401449 Filter Drier is used to eliminate moisture, acid, and solid contaminants that exist within refrigerant lines in HVAC systems to better maintain the systems’ performance and durability.This filter drier has a 5/8” ODF connection and has a desiccant core that helps to remove impurities that can harm other parts of the system including compressors and expansion valves.Keeping clean refrigerant also means increasing the efficiency of the system, decreasing the chance of a failure and making HVAC equipment last longer, including: air conditioning systems, heat pump systems and refrigeration systems.
