The Lochinvar & A.O. Smith 100074381 Filter Plug is a sealing component designed to close the filter access opening within fluid circulation assemblies. The plug is inserted into the filter housing port creating a closed closure that does not interfere with the fluid path but lets the internal filter trap debris of circulating fluid used in HVAC systems. Its fits with the filter chamber interface to ensure that the opening is sealed and pressure is maintained in the line. It is located in the filter assembly part of the equipment to assist in the movement of fluids that are controlled and containment of fluids during the operation of the system.
