Description
The Xylem-Bell & Gossett 1EF063LF is a replacement motor for centrifugal pumps used in commercial and industrial HVAC systems. This electric motor has two horsepower and runs on three phases. It can run on single phase power between 208 and 230 volts or on three phase power between 460 volts. Spinning inside a housing, the pump’s impeller is connected to the motor’s shaft. Centrifugal force is produced while the impeller rotates, pulling fluid into the pump intake and forcing it out of the discharge exit. A variety of Xylem-Bell & Gossett centrifugal pumps, such as models 1EF063LF-2, 1EF063LF-4, 1EF063LF-6, and others, are compatible with the 1EF063LF. Boiler feed systems, chilled water systems, and hydronic heating and cooling systems all use these pumps.
