Description
The Lennox 15G21 Inverter Control is a replacement kit for certain Lennox HVAC equipment, probably rooftop units. This kit includes a variable frequency drive (VFD). In contrast to the on/off controls, a VFD provides fine motor speed control. This control is used to control the speed of a 5 HP motor, and can be changed according to the cooling or heating needs. This may help to enhance efficiency to decrease energy use during better conditions of climate. By adjusting motor speed, the VFD allows the system to achieve the better rate of airflow and efficiency, which may reduce the stress on the motor.
