Description
The Bard HVAC 8552-051BX Round Capacitor is a dual HVAC capacitor with a capacitance of 40/5 MFD and a voltage of 440V. It’s starting and running motors, especially in air conditioning units and heat pumps. The capacitor supplies the required electrical power for starting the motor and for sustaining a stable operation for cooling or heating. It is compact and easier to install since both start and run functions are housed in one unit. Advantages include increased energy factor, less motor damage, and better system performance of HVAC equipment, which in turn result in lower maintenance and longer equipment life.
