Description
The Lennox 71W43 Limit Control STILT is a safety device intended for Lennox HVAC equipment, mostly furnaces and air handlers. This automatic switch is an unsung hero in your system because it constantly checks the temperature to avoid system overheating and subsequent damage. For a particular high-limit range of L140°F, the switch isolates the furnace or air handler from power supply when the temperature rises beyond this safe limit. This helps avoid scenarios where your equipment gets too hot and perhaps becomes a safety hazard to use. The reset temperature of approximately 30°F is to ensure that the system can safely start again when things warm up.
