Description
The Rheem-Ruud UV6379R Thermocouple Kit is a temperature-sensing component created to monitor pilot flame operation and support regulating gas flow in compatible heating equipment. With a 24-inch length, it generates a signal that keeps the gas valve active while a stable flame is present, assisting in maintaining proper equipment operation. Mounted near the pilot assembly, it is used in gas-fired heating units and water heating equipment, including certain HVAC systems, where consistent ignition control is essential. Its operation supports accurate heating performance and dependable system response.
