Description
The Henry Technologies S-1902 is an oil separator with an exterior diameter of 2-1/8 inches and a flush return of 3/8 inches. Although it can be found throughout various HVAC equipment, its main application is in oil-fired furnaces. This part clears the oil from the refrigerant circuit, protecting the system. Oil contamination can damage a variety of components, preventing them from functioning properly. As the refrigerant flows through the system, the separator collects oil S-1902 droplets to keep them from getting to sensitive S-1902 parts and causing damage. This preserves system performance at its best, lessens component wear and tear, and may even increase.
