Description
The Carrier T111850042 Expansion Valve that is an essential addition to particular Carrier air conditioning and refrigeration systems. This valve which is measured is essentialin controlling the flow of refrigerant and enhancing the cooling efficiency. It acts as a pressure-controlled gatekeeper thus the name TXV. When cold air is being produced the TXV takes the temperature and pressure of the refrigerant leaving the evaporator coil. When the pressure is high, this indicates that the refrigerant is low, the TXV opens and more cool liquid refrigerant enters the coil.
