The Amana-Goodman B12825167SP Base Valve Open 7/8” is an essential part of the residential and light commercial HVAC systems. This base valve is intended for selected Amana and Goodman split air conditioning and heat pump systems and is an essential control component of the refrigerant circuit. In other words, it controls the admittance of the refrigerant into the evaporator coil. This particular valve opens when the system is on the process of cooling it and lets refrigerant go in the evaporator. This refrigerant then blows cold air and the indoor air and passing over a coil which cools the entire room.
