Description
The Nidec-US Motors 5860 is a 1 1⁄3 horsepower, single-phase variable torque motor developed for applications with adjustable speed control. This adaptable motor produces rotary motion with a variable speed output by transforming electrical energy into mechanical energy. The term “variable torque” refers to the fact that the torque capacity of the motor varies with the speed setting. Torque usually peaks at lower speeds and falls down as speed rises.
