Description
The Nidec-US Motors 8493P is a two-horsepower (hp) three-phase electric motor developed for industrial and commercial applications that require more power output. This industrial-grade motor uses rotating motion to transform electrical energy into mechanical energy, which can power many pieces of equipment. In comparison to single-phase motors, a three-phase motor uses a three-wire connection to deliver a smoother and more constant power flow. It is therefore appropriate for applications requiring more power and reliable operation due to its higher torque and increased economy.
