As a drain pan heater, in order to keep the drain pan warmer to allow any accumulated water to drain off in order to avoid water buildup that could harm the system or decrease its efficiency. This heater works at 208-230V voltage with the power rating of this heater effectively heats the drain pan under evaporator coils or within air handling units.
