Description
The Belimo B277+AFRX24-MFT-S is a three-way stainless steel (SS) globe valve with a 3-inch National Pipe Thread (NPT) connection that is specifically intended to control fluid flow in HVAC systems. Its flow coefficient (Cv) of 70 indicates that, when fully open, it can manage modest flow volumes. Furthermore, the marking “S/R Prop Aux” indicates the use of auxiliary switches for additional functionality as well as a spring return proportional actuator. By regulating the fluid flow through a rotary plug inside the valve body, this valve operates. Using a 24-volt signal as power, the spring return proportional actuator precisely positions the plug according to the strength of the received signal.
