Description
The Hartland Controls CAP-40/7.5/440R Round Run Capacitor is an electrical component designed to support motor operation by maintaining the required phase shift in the circuit. It operates by storing and releasing electrical energy by using internal plates with ratings of 40/7.5 MFD with a 440 V capacity to enable compressor and fan motors to operate smoothly when used in air-conditioning and heat pump HVAC systems. The capacitor is installed in the equipment control compartment in which the terminals are connected to the compressor and condenser fan motor wiring. The constant charge and discharge in the circuit are used to ensure the motor performance is stable and airflow in the system is constant.
