Description
The Cleveland Controls AFS-145 SPDT Air Pressure Switch is a stable and multifunctional part that is intended to be used in monitoring and regulating the airflow in HVAC systems. Based on a relatively straightforward mechanism the switch uses a diaphragm that is sensitive to variations in air pressure. When the pressure inside the system has risen to a certain level of pressure, the diaphragm comes into contact with a system that changes the electrical contacts. This switching action can then be used to activate several control functions within the HVAC system switching on or off fans, dampers, or other equipment. This is especially useful in low-pressure applications, with a pressure range of 0.05”-12” water column.
