Description
The Amana-Goodman DY6.186.0408 Draft Inducer Capacitor is applied in HVAC systems to assist the motor running continuously by supplying the phase-shifted electric energy to stabilize the current and torque under normal operation conditions. It is dimensioned and rated to suit the electrical needs of the inducer motor, to keep the motor speed constant and to pass air through combustion and venting ducts. This run capacitor is installed in the electrical compartment of the motor and hardwired into the run circuit, providing efficient operation of the inducer in the furnace and other gas-fired equipment.
