Description
The International Comfort Products 1179200 Grille Guard is basically a guard for the outer part grille of heating and cooling systems. This one is built to stretch and cover the grille tightly to protect it and is typically constructed from some fairly rigid materials such as plastics or metals. The grille guard plays its role of ensuring that optimum air flow is provided while protecting the interior components of the HVAc unit since the grille is at times faced with possibility of getting damaged by dirt, insects among others. Maintenance costs are also reduced, equipment life is extended and system efficiency is improved by this protection. Usually, grille shields are put for the Outdoor HVAC units, particularly where weather conditions are harsh or where there are many pollutants in the environment.
