The Browning 1VL30X5/8 Variable Pitch Sheave is used in the speed control of driven machines. Measuring 2.87″ in diameter and with a 5/8” bore, this variable pitch sheave works by varying its effective diameter, thereby changing the speed ratio of the driving and the driven parts.
