Description
The Carrier 48VL400049 Insulation Assembly/Flue Box is an essential component in many Carrier HVAC systems. Its main purpose is to cover and surround the flue, the pipe which expels hot exhaust gases from the unit. It is therefore able to insulate the flue so that it protects the HVAC system from attaining dangerous temperatures and passing on heat to the other parts of the system. This is not only safer but also beneficial when it comes to the use of the structures as it reduces heat loss.
