Description
The Bussmann Fuse LPJ-17-1/2SP is a Time Delay Low high Fuse that is used for overcurrent protection in different electrical applications, especially in HVAC systems. Approved for 600V and with a current rating of 17.5A, this cartridge fuse permits temporary overcurrents and is useful in applications with inductive loads such motors that draw high initial currents. The time-delay function minimizes nuisance blowing and ensures proper performance in case of overload. This fuse serves also as a safety part to stop large values of short circuit current that could damage equipment cutting down the duration of maintenance.
