Description
The Carrier HC39AZ231 motor is a permanent split capacitor motor of single phase type which is used in different HVAC equipment. It is a small and sturdy machine that produces ¼ horsepower at 825 rpm. This motor is used in a voltage of 208-230 volts and is commonly used in air handling units, condensers, and evaporator coils. PSC motors operate with a run capacitor which remains in operation always to provide the starting torque and the efficiency. It can be easily integrated into different designs of equipment due to its small size. Also, the PSC design provides the better compromise between the starting torque and the running efficiency.
