Description
The Carrier EA03SC221 is a Thermal Expansion Valve commonly referred TXV which is an essential component or fitting in several HVAC systems including Air conditioners and Heat Pumps. It works as the refrigerant flow control and adjusts to changes in pressure and temperature within the system. The TXV can control the amount of refrigerant that enters the evaporator coil thereby improving the system’s performance. This means the availability of equal capacity of either cooling or heating over the full system and leads to efficiency. These valves are factory set to achieve the right superheat control which is an essential parameter in achieving the right efficiency in the system.
