Description
The Bard HVAC S8107-028-0157 is a variable-speed motor intended for use in Bard HVAC systems such as furnaces, air handlers, and rooftop units. The blower fan, which moves air around the heating or cooling system, is powered by it. This motor can change its speed in response to system needs, in contrast to conventional single-speed motors. By maintaining a constant temperature across the room, this variable speed functionality improves comfort and saves energy by only utilizing the minimum amount of power required to maintain comfort. It also operates more quietly than single-speed motors. This variable speed capability can lead to quieter operation, less energy use, and increased comfort. Rooftop units, air handlers, and Bard furnaces are typical places to find this motor.
