Description
The Bard HVAC 8604-096BX is a 15-kilowatt, 240-volt heat strip intended for use with electric heating systems. This works by using resistance to transform electrical energy into heat. Usually mounted in air handlers or electric furnaces, the heat strip warms the air as it passes over it and is then disseminated throughout the structure. Using its six terminals, this specific heat strip provides more flexibility for electrical setup in HVAC equipment that is suitable. The Bard 8604-096BX heat strip provides multiple advantages through its electrical heat generation mechanism. Because it doesn’t require combustion and doesn’t release any hazardous byproducts, it provides a safe and effective heating option. Additionally, compared to conventional furnace systems, electric heating systems that use heat strips frequently require less maintenance.
