Description
The Broan-NuTone S99080180 Replacement Motor is used for 8-inch automatic dampers of HVAC systems. It allows the damper to open and close automatically depending on the need of the system. When the HVAC system is on the motor opens this damper to allow fresh air into the building environment. When the system is switched off the motor closes the damper which helps to block back drafts, unwanted airflow and thereby, energy wastage. This results in better energy use since losses through infiltration are reduced and temperatures are well controlled. It also ensures that when the system is off, no more outside air, smells or insects can infiltrate the house through the ductwork.
