Description
The Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 054250 5-Ton Thermal Expansion Valve 3/8″ X 3/8″-1/2″ SAE is a system sed to meter refrigerant and regulate the flow of refrigerant entering the evaporator for optimal heat exchange within HVAC systems. The valve senses the temperature and pressure of the refrigerant using a charged bulb attached to the suction line near the outlet of the evaporator and opens or closes to keep the correct superheat, ensuring ideal cooling and preventing the liquid refrigerant from flowing to the compressor.
