Description
The Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 060967 Suction Accumulator is used for the reduction of pressure and pulsation in HVAC systems. It accomplishes this by holding hydraulic energy in reserve to release during periods of low flow as a means to regulate the system. In another functionality, it stabilizes the system pressure by storing hydraulic energy during periods of high flow in a reservoir and releasing it during low flow periods. This 1/2” ODF connection size accumulator is normally applied to refrigeration and air conditioning systems, such as chillers, heat pumps, and air handlers. The advantages of this accumulator are better system performance, lower noise and vibration, longer equipment life, and increased system reliability.
