Description
The Emerson Flow Control (Alco) 058976 Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV) that is used to control the flow of the refrigerant in refrigeration and the air conditioning system. This TXV uses a temperature-sensing bulb to measure the evaporator temperature and control refrigerant flow. It, controls the flow of refrigerant to ensure that liquid refrigerant does not enter the compressor to cause damage and at the same time enhance efficiency. The model 058976 has a 3/8” x 1/2” ODF outlet connection and a 1/2” inlet connection; it is ideal for residential and commercial air conditioners, refrigerators, and freezers.
