Description
The Watts 0278030 Pressure relief valve is intended for use in HVAC systems including boiler and hydronic heating systems to prevent pressure build up. This bronze valve has a 2”NPT thread and pressure relief of 30 PSI. As the system pressure gets high, or reaches the set maximum pressure value for the specific equipment, the valve operated opens and releases the excess fluid. This assists in sustaining the better performance of the system as well as increase the durability of the HVAC system.
