Watts 0182421 Dual Switch Assembly LWCO 50-PSI is a safety feature that can be used in different HVAC applications. It comprises two standalone LWCO switches that provide control of the water level in boilers, chillers, and other water-containing equipment. When the level of water gets to a point below this level, the first switch gives a low water alarm to the operators. If the level goes down even more, the second switch triggers another safety control action, the burner or compressor is turned off to protect the equipment. This dual-switch configuration improves safety by offering both initial notification systems and over-ride protection on low water conditions that can cause equipment failure and overheating.
