The Trane TRR1873 is an automatic transformer for HVAC applications only. It is safe and reliable in terms of modifying the incoming voltage level to a level appropriate to the connected devices. They also play a role of a ‘go-between’ which helps to regulate a 120V AC voltage supply to the HVAC unit in order to enable it to work as expected.
